Dreams...

To my two young friends...

Dreams are not supposed to remain in the future. Yes, it is a very safe place to keep them, and some dreams may turn out to be false dreams, once you act upon them and turn them into reality.

All the same, even false dreams have a purpose - they teach you what you don't like, which will help you know yourself better and know what you truly DO love in your life. At times, they bring other lessons that will be useful in later life.

Dreams, (not fantasies) are what you should be living.
Take action to turn them into reality.
Dare to live your dreams. Your life will be all the richer for it.

At times, you may fall flat on your face, but there is always a silver lining to any uncomfortable situation. The breakdown before the breakthrough.

Some dreams have a timeline of their own, and you will get a feeling when to put them on hold, when something is unfinished business, and when another venture turns out to be a wrong path that you can leave behind you without completing it.

There is no point climbing to the top of a mountain, if half way through, you realise you are climbing the wrong mountain. Rather, admit your mistake, turn back, and start as soon as possible your climb up the right mountain.

Discoveries are made by not following rules....
